This is accomplished by our talented clinicians who guide our clients towards recognizing the interconnection between chaos and harmony, joy and pain; in order to identify the positive yet realistic aspects in negative and often times uncomfortable situations.
Individual counseling is a form of therapy in which the client is treated on a one-on-one basis with a licensed clinician. The therapy process itself typically last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, and may take many forms, depending on the issues needed to be addressed and how far the client wishes to go in dealing with them. Therapeutic treatment is guided by a treatment plan that the client and clinician both agree to pursue. During sessions the client and clinician will work together to help bring change in thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are interfering with their ability to live a fulfilling life.
For some individuals, group therapy can be just as or even more effective than individual therapy. In group therapy, clients realize they are not alone. Through our group therapy services clients are provided an opportunity to meet other individuals struggling with similar problems, and learn relate to others in healthier ways.
Marriage/couples counseling is designed to help couples of all types recognize and resolve conflicts in order to improve their relationships. Through this form of counseling clients learn to make thoughtful decisions about rebuilding and strengthening their relationship or going their separate ways. The therapy process itself typically last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, during which the licensed clinician guide clients every step of the way and implement various methods to help them develop new attitudes towards all of life’s most complex matters.
Clinical hypnotherapy is a type of complementary and alternative treatment in which the mind is used to help with a variety of problems, such as breaking bad habits or coping with stress. Clinical Hypnotherapy lasts 45-minutes; and uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness that is sometimes called a trance. In this naturally occurring state, a person may focus his or her attention -- with the help of a trained therapist -- on specific thoughts or tasks. Hypnotherapy is usually considered an aid to psychotherapy (counseling or therapy), because the hypnotic state allows people to explore painful thoughts, feelings, and memories they might have hidden from their conscious minds. In addition, hypnosis enables people to perceive some things differently, such as blocking an awareness of pain.
Family dynamics can be difficult to manage. Similar to marriage/couples counseling, the family counseling process typically last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. This therapeutic modality allows for an unbiased and nonjudgmental safe space for clients to process familial relationship and/or concerns.

My name is Carrie Hubbard. I have a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and hold a license as an Associate Counselor in Alabama (ALC). My clinical experience includes but is not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and substance abuse prevention.
My name is Jasmine Clinton. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child-Parent Psychotherapy. I have worked primarily with children and adolescents to assist with treating symptoms associated with ADHD, anxiety, depression, aggression, self-injurious behaviors, and gender identity. I also have experience working with adults, in regards to parenting and rebuilding the child-parent relationship. Life can be filled with many hurdles and barriers that make it difficult for us to enjoy, or even recognize the positive aspects of our lives. We become consumed by the negative and feel helpless and alone. I am here to assist you through your journey. Let me help you gain a new perspective on life!
My name is Terrance Battles. I have a masters degree in marriage and family counseling. I have clinical experience that includes but is not limited to depression, anxiety, adolescence with behavioral concerns, relational issues, and family systems. No one person is the same as another, and I believe therapy should reflect that. I use an integrative approach to therapy where I match the right approach to specifically fit you. My goal is to provide clients with a safe, non-judgmental, affirming environment where self-exploration, growth, and positive change can occur.
